WordPress Integration

FeedSync syncs your listings to WordPress through the FeedSync companion plugin (epl-fs-companion), which runs alongside Easy Property Listings (EPL) on your site. Once connected, every listing change in FeedSync flows to your WordPress site automatically.

You connect a site with a magic link — there are no API keys to copy or paste by hand.

Prerequisites

  • A WordPress site with Easy Property Listings installed and active.
  • The FeedSync companion plugin — download it from the dashboard (Sites screen) and install it on your WordPress site like any other plugin.
  1. In FeedSync, go to your feed's Sites tab and start Connect a site.
  2. Enter your WordPress site's domain. FeedSync generates a magic link (valid for a few minutes).
  3. Make sure the companion plugin is installed and active on that WordPress site.
  4. Open the magic link while logged in to WordPress. The companion plugin reads the one-time token and confirms the connection back to FeedSync.

That's it. On success, FeedSync automatically sets up everything needed:

  • the Site record (type: WordPress),
  • a webhook so listing changes are pushed in real time,
  • a scoped API key (read-only) the site uses to pull data,
  • a health monitor so you can see at a glance if the connection is healthy.

How syncing works

After pairing, FeedSync notifies your site whenever a listing is created, updated, deleted, or has a status change (and when its images change). The companion plugin creates or updates the matching EPL property — including images, floorplans, and agents.

Listing statuses map to WordPress post states automatically (for example current/sold/leased publish the property, withdrawn makes it private, offmarket a draft). These mappings can be overridden per feed if needed.

Pushing on demand

To push without waiting for the next feed update, use Push to sites from the Listings page — see Push sites.

Keeping the plugin updated

The companion plugin can update itself from FeedSync, so it stays compatible as the platform evolves. If you ever need a fresh copy, re-download it from the Sites screen.

Troubleshooting

Pairing didn't complete

  • The magic link is short-lived — generate a fresh one and open it promptly.
  • Confirm the companion plugin is installed and active on the site before opening the link.
  • Make sure you're logged in to WordPress admin when you open the link.

Listings aren't appearing

  • Check the site's health/monitor status on the Sites tab.
  • Confirm Easy Property Listings is active.

Images aren't syncing

  • Ensure your WordPress server can reach the image URLs and has enough disk space / upload headroom.
